I was hoping this picture would accompany a post about a City win over their Manchester rivals United yesterday. Unfortunately for the blue half of the city a Michael Owen goal deep into injury time gave the Reds a 4-3 victory. All in all it was a pretty bad weekend for my football teams with Rangers only managing a goalless draw at Kilmarnock and more importantly Irvine_Meadow losing 2-1 away to Beith.

It took ages to get a decent photo of this little creature which was slithering around my wheelie bin. Being a perfectly patient model we eventually got there and 'Amy' as it has been christened was allowed on it's away to no doubt help destroy all the plants in my back garden :)

A carton of the new Xtreme Fiery Wasabi Pringles. The words Xtreme and Fiery give the impression that this snack is going to be Hot, Hot, Hot but the senastion never even reaches smoldering point. Very disappointing but quite a nice packaging to photograph.

This photo was taken in the early hours of the morning and shows street lights in Kilwinning taken from a street away. If you enlarge the photo I think it looks a bit like reindeer lights you see at Christmas.

Meadow Park, Irvine

A picture of Meadow Park, home to Irvine_Meadow_XI Football Club. The photo shows the north west corner of the park looking towards James Crescent. Although the photo was taken in August recent wet weather had already forced the cancellation of other football matches in the area. Meadow groundsman Gus Hollas had as always, made sure the pitch was in perfect condition.

Close-up, abstract photo of me wearing one of my favourite t-shirts. Straight To Hell is a track from The Clash's 1982 album Combat Rock. Not only is this one of my favourite t-shirts but it's also one of my favourite songs from one of my favourite bands.
